5 Erewhon Market Must-Buys: From Celebrity Picks to Fan Favorites

What is actually worth the pretty price tag according to foodie bloggers and L.A. influencers

Erewhon Market is bustling with weekend grocery store-goers: moms and dads fill their carts for the week, Instagram influencers pose for a selfie with their favorite kale smoothie, and celebrities like Gwenyth Paltrow sneak in to grab a quick drink from the Goop-approved tonic bar.

Browsing the aisles of this natural-food fortress, it can be hard to know what is actually worth the pretty price tags. Luckily, the cult-favorite L.A. grocer has been blogged, vlogged, and reported on by almost every internet foodie to reveal the absolute must-try Erewhon items.

It is no secret that YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is obsessed with Erewhon’s kale white bean salad: a zesty and crunchy side that has a million ‘dupe’ recipes on the internet because it is that good. Instagram and Tik Tik commentator @itsmetinx, who has her own smoothie at the juice bar, raves about the ZAB hot sauce, a slow-burning spicy condiment that contains fruity notes, perfect on absolutely everything.

Thelatelyblog, a food and lifestyle blogger, has shopping at Erewhon down to a science. Her biggest tip: go for the legendary salad and hot-bar items. She suggests trying the macrobiotic salad, falafel, and salmon, plus any of their veggie sides, which include the buffalo cauliflower and creamy Japanese sweet potatoes.

Next on her list is Deux’s enhanced cookie dough, the ‘good-for-you cookie dough’ that is you guessed it: raw, vegan, gluten-free, and infused with aloe vera gel and vitamin c for extra boosts collagen. A few of her honorable mentions include the strawberry rose almond milk (a creamy pink beverage that tastes exactly how it looks), house-made Erewhon tortilla chips, and any of the jarred prepared soups.

Hopefully, with the help of these expert blogger and influencer recommendations,

the Erewhon Market aisles may look a little less intimidating.
